If you're traveling in Taipei, Dadaocheng and Dihua Street are places you shouldn't miss. As one of Taipei's most historic neighborhoods, the area is filled with old buildings, traditional shops, and a nostalgic atmosphere that feels very different from the modern side of the city.

And here's a fun way to experience it: **dress up in a traditional qipao and explore Dadaocheng like you're stepping back in time.** The Dadaocheng Visitor Center offers a free retro costume dress-up experience for visitors, including qipao and other vintage-style outfits.

Reservations can be made 11 to 31 days in advance, and a NT$1,000 deposit is required at check-in. You can choose one outfit and one accessory, change at the visitor center, and then head out to explore the historic streets of Dadaocheng.

It's especially popular on weekends, so reservations tend to fill up quickly.
On weekdays, however, you may still find an available spot if there are cancellations or no-shows.
